A hyper-growth global software innovator is looking for an experienced and innovative Market Development Lead to join their team of disruptors, trailblazers, innovators and risk-takers. As their Market Development Lead, you will be based ideally in Germany and have extensive in depth knowledge of the German market. Today over 350 million people use their products on a daily basis making them one of the largest app publishers in the world, providing the best consumer products to enjoy online content regardless of location or platform.

A key aspect of this role will be to drive and unlock business opportunities focusing specifically on capitalising on the mobile side. They are a lean team and are looking for a ‘do-er’ to take charge, the ideal candidate will be sales hungry and hands-on with expert industry knowledge and experience that will enable them to hit the ground running.

You would be responsible for selling the businesses digital product offerings in the mobile market, thereby ensuring continued growth for the business through the achievement of sales targets as stipulated by your direct report, the VP of Business Development. There would be an expectation to meet very specific sales objectives, while maintaining a high level of customer service both internally (other departments) and externally (customers).

Requirements Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for driving and achieving sales targets in Europe, specifically in Germany(mobile-focused)
  • Focus on the diagnostic selling process across your customer base by implementing all phases of the sales process at the executive level and with the relevant decision-makers.
  • Increase customer numbers by developing new business through new customer acquisition, through a process of identifying and qualifying prospects through hunting
  • Focus on pipeline creation by constantly building relationships with new customers to maximise opportunities for revenue growth
  • Provide oversight of sales and make recommendations/solutions to growing revenues across the region
  • Implementation of the direct sales strategy across the region
  • Establish and retain relationships with new customers
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers
  • Meet monthly KPI’s to achieve the defined customer contact plan identified for your area of responsibility
  • Maintain a high level of quality service to your customers

 

Mandatory Requirements / Qualifications: ​

  • Sound knowledge of the German Market and Europe as a whole
  • 5 -10 years of successful sales/business development experience in a browser type business environment with a focus on the mobile space
  • Demonstrated ability to be able to deliver on high-value complex sales across a range of verticals
  • Have high attention to detail, possess an ability to multi-task and work well under pressure, be a critical and strategic thinker and be self-motivated/proactive
  • Autonomous and entrepreneurial in nature and in business approach
  • Highly analytical with an ability to articulate a storyline
  • Ability to work in a very fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Flexible with working hours, and happy to travel if required
  • Be able to demonstrate you have delivered high-value complex sales across a range of verticals
